Light Makeup For Beach/Pool Day

Hello readers!

trust me, my actual skin little worse than the picture, it's because i did makeup outside with natural light from the sun.

Today's Post is about light makeup that i like to wear for beach or pool day. This wasn't planned actually, because i was going to make another review post, but because i was going to the pool that day, so this idea just came out :D As you can see above there are pictures "Before and After". On the "Before" picture, i didnt wear any makeup on, sunscreen only. And on the "After" picture, it shows the complete look.

Here i got bunch of snapshots during the process, so you guys can see how it's done :

#1 Concealer
Just take small ammount pea-sized of concealer and apply it onto some imperfection areas on my face with patting motion.

#2 Powder
Set the makeup with powder. Apply it all over the face with larger brush.

#3 Bronzer
I wanted to achieve slight "summery glow". So just contouring both hollow of my cheeks, forehead and sides of my nose.

#4 Do Eyebrows
First, i just corrected the shape of my eyebrows then slightly apply the black-bean eyebrow pencil, i want it still to look natural.

#5 Waterproof Eyeliner
I used waterproof liquid eyeliner and line my upper lash line only. I didnt do my lower lash line because i dont have the waterproof pencil eyeliner since i like pencil better for my lower lash line.

#6 Lip Balm
I think lip balm is perfect for the light makeup. Keep my lips naturally polished and moisturized.

Final Look :

Products Used :
- Neutrogena Spectrum+ Sunblock SPF 100+ (i know the spf sounds too much , SPF 30 should work enough! but this one is the only one that i have for my face)
- Clinique Acne Solution Clearing Concealer in shade 02
- Maybelline Dream Matte Powder
- NYC Smooth Skin Bronzing Face Powder
- Skinfood Black Bean Eye Brow Pencil in no 5
- Urban Decay 24/7 Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner in Perversion
- Nivea Lip Care

If you notice, i did skip the blush and mascara because this is intended to be "light makeup" (which is optional, you can apply them to if you wish though). But i tried to use products as less as i could to achieve the "lightness" on my face during the day in the beach/pool.

Well the post isn't complete today without adding some "instagram-like" effects to the last picture! :D

I almost forgot to say something, thank you so much for all of you who decided to follow this blog, im so happy and appreciate it as i noticed i got couple more followers these days!

Anyway, do you like wear makeup when you go to the beach/pool? or you prefer to keep your face free? Share in the comments!

Thanks for checking this post out and stay safe :)

The Summer Hat + Outfit Ideas

The story began from the needing of flour and sugar yesterday afternoon. So, i was sitting on the couch, imagined of good sandwich for tomorrow. Then i had my butt off the couch and started make the bread. Afterwards, i told my husband that we dont have flour and sugar left from the bread  making. Then we drove to Kmart to get both stuff. As always in the store, i always look around. Then i found a cute summer hat and i thought i need it because during summer especially if my head got sun above me, i noticed i always get headache from it. And that hat is on sale for 40% off. The actual price was $9.99, after discount the price became $5.99. Not bad at all! :)

This hat is comfy and protect both of my head and face from the sun. Also, It feels light on my head, and really like that this hat has "floppiness" as you can see on the picture above that make it look so pretty.

Surely, this kind of hat would make any outfit look prettier and cuter.  Here i have couple outfit ideas that i think would suitable to goes with the hat :

The Casual Look (The pink stripes top - the one i wore on the picture above)
- The simple tshirt with black lace short. White bracelet and floral earings. To matching up, i paired the look with white hobo and white floral wedges.

The Summer Lace ( pretty similar with the number 1, but i think this one has more feminine to it )
- Here i picked both of my top and bottom with the lace pattern. For accesories and flats, i picked ones with whites and flower details. I seemed like a fan of flower and lace right? Yes, i am. And i picked my plaid clutch to go with it.

- The Dressy Look
- Even though i bring some other colors here, but again i cant believe i picked a blue dress with flower pattern on it! This is my favourite dress. Sometimes i wear it either alone or with the red cardigan. For the bag, i picked the red one , and i dont want to go much since my dress is already fun, so i'd just wear the medium hoops sized earrings with silver floral-leaves bracelet. And the last, i paired the outfit with nude heels.

The Bikini Look
This one is my favourite bikini to wear on the pool. To keep it fun, i bring some fun colors bracelets i got from Bali and pair it with the flats that has some colors just to matching up with the bracelets. Sorry for not displaying the beach/pool bag.

The Semi Casual
- The long jeans with white top that has collar to it, floral rings and white stone earings. I choosed the same flats with the outfit #4. To make it casual, i brought the blue navy crossbody/shoulder bag.

So guys, those are my opinion of outfits that would go well with this summer hat. Im not fashion expert but i thought why dont i share these ideas with you.  And as you can notice, i bring a lot of flowers, lace, and white details into my outfit style because i love them

Now, tell me which outfit that is more into your style? Or do you have more ideas to pair your outfit with this hat? Please let me know in the comment below. :)

Last, i hope you enjoy this post and have a good day! :)

Maybelline SuperStay 14HR Lipstick : Keep Me Coral

Any of you familiar with this stuff? or even owned it already? Yep, this is what i going to talk about on this post.

Let's see what they have to say about this product :

WHY YOU'LL LOVE IT

14HR Lipstick with an ultra-lightweight formula:
• Stays fresh, light, and comfortable
• Super rich color that lasts for 14 hours
• Pigments are enveloped in a longwearing system
• 20 long wearing shades

FOR BEST RESULTS

Apply your lipcolor by starting in the center of your upper lip. Work from the center to the outer edges of your lip, following the contours of your mouth. Then glide across the entire bottom lip.
(source : from here)
Now into my own experience :

The Swatch :

without any lipgloss on top and lip balm underneath ; no flash.

with flash

Keep Me Coral is shimmery orange with slight pink undertone lipstick , i know some of you dont like shimmery things but i am pleased with how it turn out on my lips. It smells nice sort of fruity scent to it but not overpowering to me. For some people, it may bothers. I have worn this no more 14HR for sure. It doesnt drying out my lips and no flaky either. After 4 hours, i had meal, it wears off little bit ; still hold the color that you still can see, the glossy/shine wasnt look that perfect anymore. And at the second meal, it looked like i only have lip liner on. Be careful when you drink or whatever your lips touch, the marks transferred pretty crazy. After 6-7 hours, the color almost completely off.

I'd say this isnt bad investment for drugstore lipstick. For those who have dry lips, i suggest to always have lip balm underneath the lipstick.

Packaging : good but i love the color sensational packaging better, it looks more elegant :)
Price : $8.99
Pigmentation : good ; true to color :)
Texture/Formula : creamy.
Finishing : slighty shimmery and glossy/shine - more likely shiny, not the glossy that a lip gloss gives.
Application : first i applied my lip balm then i glide them right away onto my lips, topped it off with lip gloss that only applied on the center of my lips.
Comfortable to wear ? Yes for me.
Repurchase ? Yes, only if they have good deals and additional coupons lol.

Likes :
- Good Pigmentation
- Available in drugstore
- Available in 20 shades
- True to color
- Pleasant smells
- Color slightly stays put after 1st meal

Dislikes :
- It doesnt last as it claimed for 14HR

And last but not least, this is me worn the Keep Me Coral.

So, do you have any lipstick from this collection? How do you like them? Let me know in the comment below! :)

Thanks so much for checking out this post. I hope everyone have a good day!

Fit Me! Maybelline Blush : Medium Coral

Hello girls! I have been such a fan of Maybelline cosmetic line since i was in senior high school. I love their powder, cream blush, lipsticks and even their new release product, the phenomenal color tattoo eyeshadow! And then i got this product and i quite dissapointed with it. Take a look :

Fit Me! Maybelline Blush : in Medium Coral

beautiful blush color! comes with a brush applicator

the back of product

Product description from the packaging :
- Silky smooth texture ; Blends easily ;Wears evenly
- Oil Free
- Won't clog pores
- Dermatologist Tested

when my fingers pick up the product , the picture above shows you. It's Lack of Pigmentation.

when the brush applicator pick up the product, you actually can see how beautiful the color appear on it.

and this is when i put the product onto my skin for the swatch.

I had no real experience with this blush for actually wearing it for the day, because whenever i tried to apply it (like 3 times)  onto my cheek, you can see how it will appear on my cheek just exactly same on the last picture above. Then i will always stick to my wet n wild blush that much cheaper with awesome pigmentation. So, if those who has fair skin probably will have better luck with this blush. However, this blush  has 12 natural shades which might have more pigmentation, such as "Deep Rose" click here for more detail.

Price : $5.29
Packaging : plastic container
Repurchase : no

Likes :
- Simple & nice packaging
- Available in drugstores
- A silky smooth texture
- Lightweight
- Available in 12 shades

Dislikes :
- Lack of pigmentation
- Price doesnt worth for the quality (for this shade)

So have you tried this blush, especially with the other shades? If yes, please share your experiences in the comment below :)

Thanks for reading guys, i hope you have a good day :)

K-drama: Rooftop Prince

Is there any of you who obsessed with k-dramas?? I am! This is one of kdrama i DEFINITELY recommend you to watch :

Rooftop Prince
i got the picture from here

I been so obsessed with this drama. I mean it. I watched the whole episodes with my husband (surprisingly he likes it lol). We watched this for few days and the last day we stayed up until 3 am just were really curious for the final episode. It was so tiring to been up that late and I got myself woke up almost 12.00 in the afternoon! That was probably my first time ever to wake up that late since i lived here! And this is the craziest part : the first thing comes in my mind was the drama! You see how has the drama effected me? The whole day I spent with few pictures of the show in my mind. I sounds crazy now huh? And then I thought : why don’t I write a post about this drama?

A little synopsis :
A K-drama that narrating a prince from Joseon Era in ancient years travel to modern life (present day) in order to find out the murderer of Crown Princess.  He finds out so many things that he never knew by living through this modern life, he meets many people that exactly same in Joseon Era. He believes that he is being reincarnated through this period of time.  And the rest is you got to find them out. :D

This drama contained 20 episodes which each of them are worth to watch! The setting in 2012 and was located in Seoul, Korea i guess?

Cast (took from here) :
Micky Yoochun as Lee Gak / Yong Tae Yong
Choi Won Hong as young Lee Gak
Han Ji Min as Park Ha
Jun Min Seo as young Park Ha
Lee Tae Sung as Sun Woo Ho Joon
Jung Yoo Mi as Joo Se Na
Kim So Hyun as young Se Na
Lee Min Ho as Song Man Bo
Jung Suk Won as Woo Yong Sul
Choi Woo Shik as Do Chi San
Lee Moon Shik
Kim Ja Ok
Kim Yong Gun
Ban Hyo Jung
Kim Yoo Suk
Kang Byul
Lee Won Jong

In the beginning i was unsure whether would continue watch this after episode one or left it because they showed 2 different times altogether , ancient and modern time at the same time along with same characters. Made me think it wasnt make any sense but im glad i kept going to watch it until the end and completely understand of the whole story. And my favourite character is the main actor that is, YONG TAE YONG. Omg he is soo good looking with the short hairstyle…………… !!  Not only that, he acted pretty smart and being alert of anything ackward things happened. Even though he is main actor but he definitely aint stupid like a lot of main actor’s role in other dramas!

Also, I really love one of the soundtrack songs from this drama, that is “After A Long Time” from Baek  Ji Young, its my currently fave song now. SO so in love with the song. This is the video of the song :

Last but not least, the lesson from the drama is all terrible thoughts  to destroy others comes from enviousness that has been grown since we were little, and we kept it and let it growing even bigger. It wont take us nowhere , but we will end up to destroying ourself even more.

So, have you watched this drama? What do you think about it?

I hope everyone has a good day! :)

Sally Hansen - Ice Queen

Hi guys! A while ago i made purchase of some drugstore nail polishes. To be honest with you, im not "real" nail polish shopper, i only buy nail polishes when they are on sale. Not only nail polish, but also other stuff to be exact! Because i dont think it is a wise to spend more money when i know most likely, the drugstores will have good deals weekly! :)

Anyway, this is one of the nail polishes i picked up.

Sally Hansen - Ice Queen

This is beautiful glittery polish. Not crazy glitter in it but im in love with this polish because this is kind of polish that you dont need to worry for the mess you may make and it looks beautiful on nails. This is a prove :

i applied 4 coats!

There was a trick necessary to apply this kind of polish if you want the blue dots appearing on ur nails. You have to pat the brush with blue dots on it directly to ur nails, not brush them through otherwise you will just taking off the blue dots back to the brush. After the polish completely dry, apply some good top coat.

I dont remember how much it was , but this is absolutely affordable less than $3. And the formula doesnt bad for the price. It's quite watery and the smell is strong for me :(

Thanks for viewing, have a good day!
