Blue Smoky Look

Hello beautiful friends! I created some smoky makeup look with a pop of blue color few days ago.  

 Eyes :

• I used NYX Eyeshadow primer and Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Shadow Pencil in Clash as a base for the eyelid. 

1. Pat the blue shade from BH Cosmetics Take Me to Brazil Palette all over the eyelid using the flat brush. 
2. Too Faced Chocolate Bar : apply "Cherry Cordial" onto outer V, bring it all the way to the crease using blending brush. 
3. Too Faced Chocolate Bar : apply "Blackforest Truffle" to deepen up the outer V and slightly bring it up to the crease using small blending brush.
4. Too Faced Chocolate Bar : apply "Salted Caramel" to blend the harsh edge and bring it to upper crease to soften up the eye look. 
5. Too Faced Chocolate Bar: apply "Champagne Truffle" to the inner corner and under brow bone using small flat brush. 

• Using eyeliner brush, apply the black shade from BH Cosmetics Take Me to Brazil Palette to line the eyes. 
• Tightline the lower lash line using L'Oreal Voluminous Smoldering Eyeliner
• Mascara : Benefit They're Real & Jordana BestLash Extreme Volumizing 
• Elf Eyebrow Kit

- Shiseido Ultimate Sun Protection Cream Spf 50+
- Nars Sheer Matte Foundation in Stromboli
- Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser DArk Circles in Light Pale
- Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder

Applying Colored Eyeliner Guide :

1. Take eyeliner Brush, wet it with setting makeup spray, i used UD De Slick Makeup Setting Spray , pick up the color from the palette ( aqua color ) then apply the color as you normally apply your eyeliner.

FOTD : Korean Stars Inspired Makeup

I have been a fan of Kpop for a long time, probably when the first "Endless Love" aka "Autumn In My Heart" drama was first launched and introduced in Indonesia. Ever since, i couldnt stop watching k-dramas and listening to their musics. These Kpop stars are big inspiration to me specifically on their makeup style. So obviously i dont have as perfect skin as they do but finally i made the Kpop inspired makeup look.

I was hesitant to posting this look because i am not happy with how the eye makeup turned out. I think the winged eyeliner and eyeshadow part doesnt look right together. But i decided to just share it with you guys anyway.

List of products used : 

Eyes :

• Priming the eyelid and under lower lashline using Urban Decay Primer Potion. 
• Shaping the eyebrow, make it straight looking eyebrow using Maybelline Eyeliner Pencil in Dark Brown with lightly sweeping motion. 
• Start making the eyelook using Chocolate Bar Palette from Too Faced and Naked 2 Palette from Urban Decay. Click the picture of eyeshadows used for detailed tutorial. 
• Apply eyeliner, create winged eye look using Bh Cosmetics Liquid Eyeliner in black.
• Apply mascara to upper and bottom eyelashes using Maybelline Rocket Volum Mascara and L'Oreal Voluminous Carbon Black Mascara. 

Face :

• Using big flat top brush, apply bb cream to entire face using Garnier BB Cream (for combo/oily skin).
• Apply concealer under the eye, the bridge of the nose, any parts of the face that need to be concealed using Maybelline Age Rewind Dark Eraser Concealer. 
• Contour the face, this time i only contour my sides of the nose , since most of Koreans have light complexions using Sephora Mattifying Foundation Powder in Mocha. 
• Smile and apply blush to the apple of the cheeks with circular motion using NYC Color Wheel Blush in Pink Cheek Glow.
• Highlight the highest point of the cheeks, the bridge of the nose, and cupid's now using Victoria Secret Illuminating Face Powder in Next To Nude. 

Lips :

• Moisturize the lips using EOS Lipbalm.
• Apply lipstick using L"Oreal Colour Riche in Fairest Nude. 
• Apply Wet n Wild Lipstick in 511 B to the center part of the lips. 
• Apply Lipgloss using NYX Butter Gloss in Merengue

I definitely will trying again to do Kpop makeup look. Hope it will turn out better next time! What do you guys think?

• NYX Butter Gloss in Merengue

Creating many different looks from Too Faced Chocolate Bar is quite challenging to me, because of the color ranges are just pretty much neutrals. But im still having fun exploring the palette!

Swacthes + Quick Review : Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette

They claim ( Source taken from here. ) :

What I Thought :

I was really excited to purchase this after watched alot of beauty gurus on youtube talked about this palette. And i am not regretting buying it. The first impression as soon as i open the palette, oh boy i smelled the chocolates right away. Pigmentation is just about right ammount. It's really pigmented and very buttery smooth, no falls out. And it sticks to the skin really easy. The "Creme Brûlée" shade one is so pretty on the lid!! 

It last long time and no creasing at all with primer ( i use UDPP ). But i did experience the shadow was creasing abit on the day i forgot to use eye primer. FYI, i have super oily eyelid. Also, it's easy to blend the most of colors. And it's nice that they have great mixture of shimmers and matte. There are few options for you to use the transitition color which is great! I think this palette suits for everyday use and for anyone who is a big fan of neutral eye makeup since they provide alot of neutral colors. When using this palette, i feel all my makeup look will mostly be around neutral /brown and smokey look. 

The shades are actually looks similar to some of the real chocolate looks like. The only thing i disliking is i wish they put the names of each shade attached right on palette instead of seperated clear plastic paper. The packaging is so cute but i wish they could be abit less bulky. But overall i definitely recommend you guys to give this palette a go. 

Price : $49 at Ulta, Sephora, Too Faced Cosmetics website. 

Pros :

• Smells like chocolate
• Cute packaging 
• Very pigmented
• Buttery smooth texture
• Great shades options
• Suits for daily basis
• Last long time 

Cons : 

• Seperate clear plastic paper that has names of each shade
• Bulky packaging

FOTD using Chocolate Bar Palette (Too Faced) #2 & Casual OOTD

Hello beauties!

List of Products used :

Eyes :

• Priming the eyelid and under lower lashline using Urban Decay Primer Potion.
• Shaping the eyebrows using Maybelline Eyeliner Pencil in Dark Brown with lightly sweeping motion. 
• Take the Chocolate Bar Palette : 

1. Apply Milk Chocolate to the highest point of the crease using blending fluffy brush. 
2. Apply Cherry Cordial to the crease using smaller blending brush all the way in and out. And then drag it down using flat brush to the lower outer lash line. 
3. Apply Strawberry Bon Bon to the eyelid using flat brush. 
4. Apply White Chocolate to the under brow bone and inner corner with small flat or pointed brush. 

• Tightline the upper and lower lashline using L'Oreal Smoldering Voluminous Eyeliner Pencil in Black.
• Apply mascara to the upper and lower lashes using Maybelline Rocket Volum Mascara 

Face :

• Apply bb cream to entire face using big flat top brush in circular motion using Garnier BB Cream (for combo/oily skin).
• Apply concealer under the eye, bridge of the nose, chin, center of the forehead using Maybelline Age Rewind Dark Erase in Light Pale. Blend it with the brush or sponge. 
• Contour the face : temples, sides of the nose, hollows of the cheeks and jawlines using NYC Bronzing Powder in Sunny. 
• Smile and apply blush to the apples of the cheeks using Milani Baked Blush in Dolce Pink.
• Highlight the highest point of the cheeks , bridge of the nose and cupid's bow using Victoria's Secret illuminating Face Powder in Next to Nude. 

Lips :

• Moisturize the lips using EOS LipBalm.
• Apply lipstick using Maybelline Color Whisper in Oh La Lilac.
• Apply lipgloss using NYX Butter Gloss in Merengue.
