We stopped in the marina shop in search of a boat and i went to the back found some boat docks. I thought the view of the river so peaceful and beautiful. I enjoyed myself a quite a while just staring at the water. Then i asked him "can we go to the beach? " He said it was too late to go, so he offered " what about tomorrow?"

Then we went to the beach the next day. We had so much fun. Just one thing i wasn't happy with, the water was too too cold. But how sunny the day was, it well paid off though. We walked the sands with bare feet along the beach. I wish i could do this more often just like back in the old days of my life in Bali Indonesia.

After few hours well spent at the beach, I wanted to check out a mall across the beach. Found this interesting spot and decided to take a picture.

 The next door from the main gate of the mall, there was a restaurant. We were so hungry and decided to have lunch there. The restaurant is a bit too dark for the sunny afternoon and i was expecting to seat somewhere outside under patio or maybe inside with some windows to have some daylights. But instead, we were seating inside the building without any window. Im not complaining and considering this as "our romantic lunch spot".

The taste of the food was the bomb! I ordered lobster sandwich with coleslaw and fries on the side.

He picked shrimp tacos and fries on the side. I tried his shrimp tacos and it was the best!!

Weekend Trip : Beach Day!

I thought it was going to be an ugly cloudy day the beach... Kinda un-exciting feeling. But then we decided to just have fun anyway! 

Captured beautiful group of seagles just chilling and enjoy the nature. If these beautiful creatures can be just happy enough with the weather, why can't i? 

But then unexpected..... sun starts coming out! Yay!! Weather starts warming up too! 

The water was kinda cold, i just walked around the shores and start to feel the joyness of calm waves slapping against my feet.

I love the feeling being in the middle of water. So peaceful!

Hubby was swimming and enjoy himself in the water and i lay on the shores just to feel the coming waves. Thats my fave thing to do at the beach. It was around 4 hours long then we decided to grab something yummy and sinful to have for lunch...

Poboys Subs! I cant tell you how much i love this dish! They are so amazing, yummy, fattening and crunchy... I ordered 6" shrimp sub with fries! 

Can you see the crispy shrimp in it? 

 Gravy Cheese Fries!!! If you happened to see this dish listed on menu somewhere, you better give it a try! This is crazy delish!

It was a great day, my mind, soul and tummy were all happy! so is my hubby's.  

The we make quick stop at walmart for something then i cant resist not to get myself this cutie. How cute is that?! My new house key is hello kitty!!

Light Makeup For Beach/Pool Day

Hello readers!

trust me, my actual skin little worse than the picture, it's because i did makeup outside with natural light from the sun.

Today's Post is about light makeup that i like to wear for beach or pool day. This wasn't planned actually, because i was going to make another review post, but because i was going to the pool that day, so this idea just came out :D As you can see above there are pictures "Before and After". On the "Before" picture, i didnt wear any makeup on, sunscreen only. And on the "After" picture, it shows the complete look. 

Here i got bunch of snapshots during the process, so you guys can see how it's done :

#1 Concealer

Just take small ammount pea-sized of concealer and apply it onto some imperfection areas on my face with patting motion. 

#2 Powder

Set the makeup with powder. Apply it all over the face with larger brush. 

#3 Bronzer

I wanted to achieve slight "summery glow". So just contouring both hollow of my cheeks, forehead and sides of my nose.

#4 Do Eyebrows 

First, i just corrected the shape of my eyebrows then slightly apply the black-bean eyebrow pencil, i want it still to look natural. 

#5 Waterproof Eyeliner

I used waterproof liquid eyeliner and line my upper lash line only. I didnt do my lower lash line because i dont have the waterproof pencil eyeliner since i like pencil better for my lower lash line. 

#6 Lip Balm

I think lip balm is perfect for the light makeup. Keep my lips naturally polished and moisturized.

- Neutrogena Spectrum+ Sunblock SPF 100+ (i know the spf sounds too much , SPF 30 should work enough! but this one is the only one that i have for my face)

- Clinique Acne Solution Clearing Concealer in shade 02

- Maybelline Dream Matte Powder 

- NYC Smooth Skin Bronzing Face Powder

- Skinfood Black Bean Eye Brow Pencil in no 5

- Urban Decay 24/7 Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner in Perversion

- Nivea Lip Care

If you notice, i did skip the blush and mascara because this is intended to be "light makeup" (which is optional, you can apply them to if you wish though). But i tried to use products as less as i could to achieve the "lightness" on my face during the day in the beach/pool. 

Well the post isn't complete today without adding some "instagram-like" effects to the last picture! :D
