Hello! There were a good beauty deals at walgreens as usual but the one that really appealed to me was 40%off Wet n Wild Cosmetics, so here what i found!
The original price for WnW Megaslicks Balm Stain is $2.99 but i paid this for $1.79 each! How awesome!!

How they perform in action :

The packaging : i think its really good for $2.99 price. And the cap snap close tight where you going to hear click sounds.
Texture & Finishing: it's feels so smooth and buttery. Pretty happy with it! And i think they give sheen/shine finish to the lips!
Pigmentation : It's good!
Application : When my lips super dry/cracked, i would still put lib balm underneath, but if it's not too bad, i would just straight put the balmstain right away! And it's very easy to apply and i find myself going back and forth to get the desire color i want on my lips.
Moisturizing? One of the color make my dry/cracked lips look worse (Pinky Promise). But it worked better to put lip balm underneath. The rest of the colors perform so well without lip balm. Not moisturizing as good as Revlon Lip Butters though but it get the job done!
Staining power : Very Good! I find A Stiff Pink and Lady And The Vamp gives most intense stain where i dont really think it's necessary to reapply the color throughout the day and during few hours throughout the night the stains fades abit.
Long lasting : yes, after a meal, it fades away but the stain still there and pretty intense especially if you are wearing red / pink ones.Yyou may need to touch up to get back the sheen/shine look if you want especially for the lighter colors like nudist colony, pinky promise and rico mauve.
Repurchase : Of course!
Pros :
- Crazy cheap!
- Pigmented
- Easy to apply
- Great texture
- The stain power is very intense!
Cons :
- The colors on the packaging doesn't comes true to reality when it applied on the lips. Example :
- Pinky Promise ( from packaging, to me it look sort of pink coral, in reality it's more to nude with pink undertones.
- Lady and The Vamp ( thought it's gonna be dark violet but it appears as dark red )
- Rico Mauve ( thought gonna be red mauve but it appears lot lighter on the lips )
- Nudist Colony ( look like brown nude and appears shocking nude on my lips )
